REDS Racing is pleased to announce the launch of the new 721 Pista GEN3 engine, a significant evolution over the previous model, designed to deliver exceptional performance in 1/8 on-road racing.
Innovations and Improvements
New 7-Port Sleeve: Designed for high torque and exceptional power output across the entire RPM range. The updated exhaust and intake port layout ensures increased performance over previous models. Additionally, the piston and cylinder have been revised through precise fluid dynamic studies to improve filling and optimize washing, enhancing overall performance.
High-Speed Front Bearing: Enhances engine durability and idle stability, ensuring smoother and more reliable operation.
Redesigned Cooling Head: Lowered center of gravity for improved vehicle handling, optimized aerodynamics for reduced drag, and enhanced cooling efficiency. The new design also features updated colors for a modern look.
Revamped Carburetor and Venturi: The new die-cast aluminum carburetor features improved internal fluid dynamics, a repositioned high-speed needle, and a completely redesigned mid-range needle for more precise tuning and optimal performance. Additionally, the New Venturi XFlow™ is available as an optional upgrade, offering improved airflow and enhanced performance for both on-road and off-road applications.
Each 721 Pista GEN3 engine is meticulously assembled and hand-tuned by Mario and Marco Rossi at the REDS Racing headquarters, ensuring the highest quality standards and performance.
For maximum performance, we recommend using the new engine in combination with the Straight90™ and REDS 2113 exhaust pipe, which is crafted for the 1/8 on-road category. Its unique 90° conical design is ideal for maximizing power and engine responsiveness in the most demanding track conditions. Additionally, we recommend using only REDS original spare parts and accessories.
